RACQ's Advocacy Charter
The RACQ exists to promote and protect the legitimate and reasonable interests of our members as motorists.
To that end the Club regularly communicates with members, monitors issues of concern to them, researches those issues, evaluates options, formulates policy positions and takes action on members’ behalf.
RACQ’s advocacy aims to achieve:
- freedom of mobility for motorists
- safer drivers in safer vehicles on safer roads for the benefit of all users of the network
- the protection of the interests of motorists as consumers of the goods and services of the automotive industry, as well as fairness in the imposition of government taxes and charges on motorists
- proper regard for the impact of motoring on the natural and built environments
