• Our in-house Organisational Development team delivers various training programs via face-to-face and e-learning packages, including a 1-day orientation program.

Employee Recognition

RACQ believes it is important to provide formal recognition to its’ employees. Some of the ways we do this are:

• RACQ Extra Step Reward and Recognition program - employees can earn points via nomination from peers and/or management that can be redeemed for unique experiences such as hot-air ballooning, cooking classes, sailing lessons or vouchers that can be used to give away as a gift.

Superannuation - Helping with your retirement

• An additional 1% employer superannuation contribution above the required 9% Superannuation Guarantee Contribution.
• Employees who are members of the RACQ Superannuation Plan (provided by AMP SignatureSuper master trust) are able to access additional benefits and/or discounts provided by AMP.
  

Salary Sacrifice - Helping make your pay go further

• RACQ offers employees the opportunity to be able to salary sacrifice, i.e. take certain benefits such as vehicles and additional voluntary superannuation contributions as ‘pre-tax’.

• All employees receive free RACQ ‘Roadside' membership upon commencing employment (renewed annually).  As a RACQ member, employees are able to access some great discounts.

We know our employees value spending time with their families and friends, therefore we offer a range of flexible leave options, that are in additional to standard annual, personal, bereavement and long service leave entitlements, for example: 

• Additional Purchased Leave - employees may be able to purchase an additional 4 weeks leave per year. 
• Cashing out proportion of accrued Annual and/or Long Service Leave entitlements. 
• Bereavement / Compassionate Leave - Additional paid leave may be available where travel may be required in regards to bereavement leave.

RACQ Head Office is located at 2649 Logan Road, Eight Mile Plains and is within a 10-minute drive to Westfield Garden City or to Underwood Marketplace shopping centre. 

There is free on-site car parking and an entry and exit to the Gateway Motorway in front of the office. The following facilities and workplace benefits are available to all employees located at our Head Office:

• On-site Fusion Café and Canteen providing a variety of hot and cold foods, gourmet coffees, cakes and snacks are available at reasonable prices. 
• Kitchen facilities are provided to all departments including free tea and coffee facilities.
