Membership eligibility
All members must have a current driver licence. Plus Care and Ultra Care are only available to those who hold a current Queensland driver licence.
Waiting period
There is a 24-hour waiting period for RACQ Road Service following the processing and approval of RACQ membership applications.
There is a 72-hour waiting period for Plus Care and Ultra Care benefits following the processing and approval of RACQ membership applications for these products.
Benefits do not apply to any incident occurring within these waiting periods.
Please allow 14 to 21 days for delivery of your membership confirmation pack following approval of your membership application.
Member authorisation
Only members and person(s) authorised by a member can make or request updates to member records. Member authorisation must be noted on RACQ records.
Eligible vehicles
Registered motor vehicles are eligible for RACQ Club Care service except:
- trucks, buses and other heavy vehicles over 4 tonne gross weight, and
- taxis, private vehicle hire, courier vehicles and rental hire vehicles
There are limited services for vehicles with 2.5 to 4-tonne gross weight.

RACQ uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology for the safe transfer of your credit card information.
