More Membership Options
As well as Club Care, Plus Care and Ultra Care, RACQ offers a range of membership options for your convenience.
Gift membership
RACQ membership is the ideal way to show you care. And when you give the gift of RACQ motoring protection you could also be eligible for a gift or competition entry.
If you’re a current member giving RACQ membership to a son or daughter under the age of 21, the entrance fee is waived. That's a saving of $33.

Associate Non-Motoring Membership
Even if you don’t own a car, you can still enjoy many of the savings and benefits of RACQ membership, including loyalty benefits, for only $33 per year.
RACQ Associate Non-Motoring Membership allows you access to all RACQ Club Services, except road service, and is available to:
- current RACQ members who no longer own a registered motor vehicle
- current RACQ member’s spouse who does not own a registered motor vehicle

Companion Card
The Companion Card is ideal if you're the spouse or partner of a member and wish to take advantage of the many special member's offers and discounts but don't need road service.
With the exception of road service, the Companion Card provides all the same benefits and savings as full club membership. These include theme park discounts, special rates on accommodation and savings at thousands of businesses throughout Queensland, interstate and overseas.
The Companion Card is available for just $11 a year.

Absentee Membership
If you're leaving Australia for up to two years, you can go on a list of absentee members. There are no fees associated with Absentee Membership, however you must make the request in writing.
When you return from overseas, you can contact RACQ and arrange for your membership to be reinstated to full membership. We'll recognise your previous years of membership and no re-instatement fee will be charged. However, normal annual subscription fees will apply.

free2go
Queensland Year 11 and 12 students and 16 and 17 year old Queensland residents are welcome to join the RACQ free2go membership program. If you're eligible for free2go, you'll get free personal RACQ membership for 12 months, followed by half price membership for the following two years.
Eighteen and 19 year olds not in Year 12 receive half price membership for two years or one year respectively.
