Important information for RACQ Insurance customers who have suffered storm damage
- Please contact RACQ Insurance on 13 7202 to lodge your claim so that we can help you as quickly as possible.
- If your car has any storm or water damage please contact us as soon as possible and we will quickly arrange for your cars assessment.
- Do not attempt any tidy up that may put yourself, members of your family, or anyone else at risk.
- If you believe your home is unliveable, please tell us so that we can assist you with this or any other emergency situation.
- Dispose of any food that may be a health hazard and jot down a quick description of the items as you dispose of them.
- If moisture has entered your home, keep your home as well ventilated as possible to allow it to dry out.
- If you need to dispose of any carpet or window coverings, please retain a reasonable size sample as this will enable us to ensure we settle your claim appropriately.
- If you require essential items such as bedding, clothing or food, you may be eligible for an emergency payment of up to $5,000. For any items you purchase yourself, please keep your receipts.
