Pay by the Month
Cut your premium down to size
Now, if you prefer, RACQ Insurance can cut your annual insurance premium into smaller, more manageable monthly payments, helping you spread the cost of insurance over a whole year.
How does It work?
The policy is an annual contract paid by monthly instalments. You can arrange for your bank, credit union or building society to debit an automatic payment from your account each month. All you need to do is ensure you have enough money in your account to cover payments.
If you prefer, payments can be made with your credit card. Simply advise us of the credit card account details, and an automatic payment will be made on your monthly payment date. You still need to ensure that there is sufficient available credit to cover the payment.
Your first payment will be deducted approximately 10 days after lodgement of your direct debit authority. The second and subsequent payments will be deducted on your monthly payment date. Note: A small administration fee is applicable for each policy.

A small fee
If you choose to pay by the month using the direct debit method, an annual fee of $60 will apply which equates to $5 per month. Generally an administration fee will apply to each policy. If you have more than one policy, for example, a household and motor vehicle policy, and payment is collected from one source (i.e. the same bank account or credit account), then only a single monthly administration fee applies. Please note, our premium discounts do not apply to such fees.

This convenient payment option is available on our Building, Contents, Motor, Caravan, Boat or Body Corporate Insurance policies.
