If you're leaving Australia for up to three years, you can go on a list of absentee members. You are able to request for Absentee Membership in writing, over the phone or via email. There are no fees associated with Absentee Membership.
When you return from overseas, you can contact RACQ and arrange for your membership to be reinstated to full membership. We'll recognise your previous years of membership and no re-instatement fee will be charged. However, normal annual subscription fees will apply.
