Roadside Extra is a membership option with all the benefits of Roadside, with an additional 11 kilometres of assistance. You can either add Roadside Extra on to your existing Roadside membership, or select it when you join as a new member. Either way, you receive the full Roadside member entitlements with an extra 11km of assistance. This includes 24-hour roadside assistance and towing after a breakdown either locally or when you’re away from home.
If you have purchased Roadside Extra and your vehicle cannot be made mobile by our attending patrol team, free towing is provided up to 21km in any direction from the breakdown site or, where applicable, up to 51km to return to the nearest available RACQ Contractor’s premises or intermediate location en route.
