RACQ's Comments on the Kenmore Bypass Study
The RACQ supports in principle the proposal of a dedicated Kenmore Bypass using the preserved transport corridor from Moggill Road to the Centenary Motorway, subject to its satisfying a comprehensive analysis of traffic and transport needs for the area.

RACQ's Comments on the MacGregor/Jubilee Terrace Planning Study
The RACQ believes the mid-block section of MacGregor Terrace will ultimately require a four lane capacity due to servicing both north/south and east/west traffic movements.

RACQ's Comments on the Miles Platting, Padstow and Logan Road Intersection and Padstow and Warrigal Road Intersection Planning (MPPL) Study
While acknowledging that the current round of comments is primarily for information gathering, the RACQ proposes a number of upgrade opportunities for both these intersections.

RACQ's Comments on the Gap Creek Road Upgrade Feasibility Study
The RACQ believes that Gap Creek Road serves as an important north-south connection between local suburbs at each end. This upgrade will significantly improve safety and reduce ongoing maintenance costs of Gap Creek Road and therefore should proceed without delay.

Ipswich Motorway
The Ipswich Motorway is one of Queensland’s most congested roads, with stop-start conditions during morning and afternoon peak periods. It also has one of the highest vehicle accident rates in Queensland. Yet, the upgrading of this hopelessly inadequate and dangerous road has been subjected to extraordinary delays because of political bickering and dithering.
This document summarises the history of recent proposals to upgrade the Ipswich Motorway, analyses Commonwealth and State Government policies regarding the road, and outlines RACQ’s position.
