Crash Test DummyWhen it comes to crashworthiness and other safety features not all vehicles are created equal. As a minimum, look for vehicles that provide a full suite of airbags, Anti lock Brakes, Electronic Stability Control and a high Australian New Car Assessment Program or Used Car Safety Ratings score.

Car ThiefCar theft and theft from cars costs Australian motorists millions of dollars a year in increased insurance premiums, legal and personal costs. Look for vehicles that offer immobiliser, alarm, DataDots, self-voiding VIN labels, a locking glove box and locking alloy wheel nuts.
