Towing a caravan, 5th wheeler, trailer, horse float or a trailer boat for requires different driving techniques than when you are driving a motor vehicle alone.
RACQ Driver Education has a number of towing workshops designed to impart the knowledge and techniques necessary to safely and competently tow and manoeuvre many recreational trailer vehicle and trailer combinations. The courses have a low client to coach ration, are flexible and are a combination of both theory and hands on experience. For a more personal approach, we are also able to offer one-on-one tuition specific to your outfit to address any concerns.

Towing tips
- Stopping after the first few kilometres to check everything is in order both inside and outside of your caravan
- Be wary of overtaking remember your length is at least doubled and your acceleration greatly reduced
