Unroadworthy Roads
The 2005 Unroadworthy Roads Survey has now been completed but RACQ is interested in maintaining an ongoing database of unroadworthy roads. The RACQ will use the database to highlight current road user concerns and problem locations when discussing road funding, planning and maintenance issues with relevant authorities.
Motorists are requested to nominate and supply information on roads which they perceive to be in a poor, inadequate or substandard condition, unfit for the function they were designed to perform or not providing an acceptable level of service to the road user.
An example of ‘unroadworthiness’ would be rough, narrow, undulating sealed roads with broken edges or steep drop-offs. There might also be no line markings or so many potholes that vehicles would be constantly jarred.
If you wish to report an unroadworthy road you can do so by completing the online form.
