Young Driver Discussion Paper
Feedback on Queensland Transport’s discussion paper: Queensland youth – on the road and in control is now closed.
The RACQ has made a submission to Queensland Transport commenting on the issues raised in the discussion paper, which outlined 22 options for improving road safety among young drivers.
The Club also took the opportunity to participate in the Queensland Government’s community forums. The forums, held between 1 February and 8 March 2006, took RACQ representatives to 10 locations across Queensland.
By contributing to these forums, the community has helped influence the government to take action to reduce the road toll among young Queensland drivers.
The Club thanks all those who attended the community forums or submitted comments to Queensland Transport during the consultation period.
