RACQ Submission to Queensland Transport Discussion Paper: Queensland Youth – on the road and in control: A discussion of ways to improve young driver safety

This submission provides the RACQ’s comments on the issues raised in Queensland Transport’s discussion paper: Queensland Youth – on the road and in control. The discussion paper featured a number of possible changes to the licensing system, which may have an effect on young driver safety.

RACQ Submission to Parliamentary Travelsafe Committee Inquiry into reducing the road toll for young Queenslanders - Is education enough? - March 2003

As Queensland’s leading advocate for motorists (many of whom belong to the 17-24 age category), the RACQ has a strong interest in reducing the incidence of novice drivers and riders involved in the road toll. The attached paper is RACQ's response to the Parliamentary Travelsafe Committee’s invitation for submissions for its’ inquiry into Reducing the road toll for young Queenslanders – is education enough?
