Travel Time Survey October 2010
During May and June 2010, RACQ conducted a travel time survey along 17 major roads in Brisbane. The aim of this survey was to monitor average travel times and speeds on these routes during the morning and afternoon peak traffic periods, mainly inbound and outbound of Brisbane City.
The results of the 2010 survey were compared to the results of previous travel time surveys conducted by RACQ in 1993, 1996, 2000, 2004, and 2007 and provide an indication of how major roads in Brisbane are currently performing.

Travel Time Survey June 2004
During March 2004 – May 2004, RACQ conducted a travel time survey along 12 major radial arterial roads between Brisbane’s city centre and outer suburbs. The aim of this survey was to monitor average travel times and speeds on these routes during the morning and afternoon peak traffic periods. As a result, the average times and average speeds for cars obtained from this survey could then be compared to the results of previous travel time surveys conducted by RACQ in 1993, 1996 and 2000.
