Moreton Island is only a 75 minute cruise from Brisbane across Moreton Bay onboard the luxury ferry, MICAT. MICAT is a drive on, drive off vessel that carries up to 52 4x4 vehicles and 400 passengers, departing from Port of Brisbane and arriving on the beach at The Wrecks, 364 days a year. Moreton Island is 98% National Park, with white beaches, crystal clear waters, inland lakes, ship wrecks and sand deserts. Only 39 kms long and 7 kms wide, Moreton Island is easy sand driving along beaches and inland roads. Pitch a tent or stay at the Eco Lodge. Your adventure, your way.

Please note: A National Parks Vehicle Access Permit is required on vehicles that drive on Moreton Island. These can be purchased directly through Moreton Island Adventures. National Parks Camping Permits are required for every person camping. Bookings to be made via Qld Government  Department of Environment and Resource Management (EPA).

Discount Moreton Island Adventures tickets for RACQ members

To take advantage of the special RACQ member prices, you must pre-purchase your tickets. Purchase online, visit an RACQ branch or phone the RACQ on 1800 629 501.  

RACQ suggests phoning Moreton Island Adventures on 07 3909 3333 prior to pre-purchasing your tickets to ensure availability and confirm departure times for your selected date of attendance. Selecting a date for attendance when pre-purchasing your tickets from RACQ does not guarantee availability for that date.

Once you have purchased your tickets from RACQ you MUST reserve your transfers by calling Moreton Island Adventures on 07 3909 3333 and advise you have an RACQ voucher. Printed RACQ voucher must be presented on day of travel.

Ticket sales are subject to the below Terms & Conditions, these will be clearly explained at the time of booking.

• Cancellation is based on a requirement of 48 hours notice in off peak and 7 days notice in peak periods. All customers must call within these time frames to cancel or change a booking (phone messages are recorded if the office is unattended).
  
  
• Vehicle bookings can be reused within 12 months of the cancellation date but they will incur a $40 re-booking fee. Passenger bookings are allowed to re-book within 12 months with no re-booking fee.
