Situated on the banks of the Brisbane River in the heritage listed Naval Stores, Riverlife Adventure Centre is a young, dynamic and fun adventure tourism business that provides active, soft-adventure and recreational experiences within Brisbane's inner city's Kangaroo Point.
Riverlife offers a wide range of unique experiences including:
- Day and night guided kayaking tours along the Brisbane River
- Instructed rock climbing and abseiling from the Kangaroo Point Cliffs

All Riverlife activities and tours are perfect for beginners. We ensure our activities are fun, challenging and involve active customer participation.

Discount Riverlife Adventure Centre tickets for RACQ members
To take advantage of the special RACQ member prices, you must pre-purchase your tickets. Purchase online, visit an RACQ branch or phone the RACQ on 1800 629 501.
RACQ suggests phoning Riverlife Reservations on 07 3891 5766 prior to pre-purchasing your tickets, to ensure availability for your selected date of attendance. Selecting a date for attendance when pre-purchasing your tickets from RACQ does NOT guarantee seating availability for that date.
Once you have purchased your tickets from RACQ you MUST reserve your seats by calling Riverlife on 07 3891 5766.

General Information
- Friday Night Paddle and Prawn: 7pm - 10pm. Children must be over 12yrs.
- Saturday Night Paddle and BBQ: 7pm - 10pm. Children must be over 12yrs.
- Night Kayaking: Fri or Sat, 7pm - 8.30pm. Children must be over 12yrs.
- Stand Up Paddleboard, Coffee & Cake Sat or Sun, 9.30am - 12pm. Children must be over 8yrs.
- Stand Up Paddleboard Adventures: Daily, 3.30pm - 5pm. Children must be over 8yrs.
- Guided Kayaking: Mon-Fri 1pm-2.30pm, Sat-Sun 11am-12.30pm or 1pm-2.30pm.
- Kayak Equipment Hire: Daily Hire between 9am - 3.30pm.
- Rock Climbing: Sat or Sun, 8.30am - 10.30am. Children must be over 8yrs.
(if any climber is under 13yrs, they must be accompanied by an adult to assist - minimum one adult per rope. Adult is free of charge if only assisting). - Abseiling: Mon - Sun, 3pm - 4.30pm. Children must be over 8yrs.
- Midweek Day Adventure: choose from Mon-Fri scheduled kayaking/abseiling/rock climbing.
What to bring?
- Kayaking and Paddle adventures: Clothes that will get wet, spare change of clothes, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses (optional), towel and water bottle.
- Rock Climbing and Abseiling: Comfy enclosed footwear, hat, sunscreen and water bottle.
- Complimentary showers, lockers and sunscreen are available for your use.
Terms and Conditions
Experience
No experience is necessary as each session includes instructions, a safety briefing and equipment.
Safety
Participants must wear and use the safety equipment provided by Riverlife.
Booking Confirmation and Cancellations
Your booking is confirmed once you have redeemed your prepaid voucher by phoning 07 3891 5766. No refund will be give for cancellations once booked. All activities must be pre-booked as places on each activity are limited. Full details of meeting times, location and what to bring will be advised when booking. Some activities will only proceed with minimum client numbers.
