SkyPoint Climb is Australia’s highest external building climbs and provides unparalleled views of the beautiful Gold Coast and Gold Coast Hinterland.
The adventure lasts 90 minutes and begins with a safety briefing at SkyPoint Climb Mission Control (ground floor) before you are fitted with a protective suit and a world class, purpose built safety system featuring a full body harness and fall-arrest device to keep you safe.
You’ll then make your way to the launch platform on level 77 via SkyPoint’s high speed elevator. As you step outside you will be 240 metres above street level and ready to tackle the summit! The peak of the climb is approximately 50 metres from here. Once you reach the peak, 270 metres above sea level, climbers will have the opportunity to soak in the 360 degree views and enjoy this truly unique vantage point.
SkyPoint Climb is situated at Q1 Tower, 3003 Surfers Paradise Boulevard, Surfers Paradise.
Hours of Operation: Climb operations and reservations operate seven days a week (excluding Christmas Day).
PLEASE NOTE: On occasion, SkyPoint may be closed for a private function. Prior to pre-purchasing your SkyPoint voucher from RACQ, please refer to the Observation Deck Closure Schedule to ensure that the deck is open, when you are wishing to attend.
Discount SkyPoint Climb tickets for RACQ members
To take advantage of the special RACQ member prices, you must pre-purchase your tickets. Purchase online, phone the RACQ on 1800 629 501 or visit an RACQ Branch.
RACQ suggests phoning SkyPoint Climb Reservations on 07 5680 7700 prior to pre-purchasing your tickets, to ensure availability for your selected date of attendance. Selecting a date for attendance when pre-purchasing your tickets from RACQ, does NOT guarantee availability for that date. RACQ Voucher must be mentioned at time of enquiry/booking.
Once you have purchased your show tickets from RACQ, you MUST reserve your climb by calling SkyPoint Climb on 07 5680 7700.

Climb includes complimentary single SkyPoint Observation Deck general admission on the day of your visit, complimentary group photograph, signature SkyPoint Climb cap and climb completion certificate.
- Groups of up to 10 climbers will be led by a fully trained Climb Leader and will depart every 20 minutes. Bookings are essential and can be taken up to 2 hours (minimum) prior to a climb experience. To book phone: 07 5680 7700.

To participate in a climb, climbers must be 12 years of age or over with a minimum height allowance of 130cm. Maximum weight 136kg. Children must be accompanied by a paying adult (maximum of two children per adult).
