Cooly Dive & Snorkelling

Snorkelling and diving on the Gold Coast with the turtles is just a 20 minute boat ride from Coolangatta/Tweed Heads. Cooly Dive snorkels at the Cook Island Marine Reserve, a small protected island just off the coast with a large population of sea turtles.

No experience necessary! This dive takes around 30 to 45 minutes with a maximum depth of 12 meters. Your experienced instructor will show you the magic of Cook Island, where you will see green sea turtles, tropical and sub tropical fish, beautiful hard and soft corals, sea anemones, clown fish and much much more!

Snorkel Safari

Cook Island plays host to an abundance of soft and hard coral gardens, lots of fish life like lionfish, groper, damselfish, clown fish, kingfish, schools of baitfish, just to name a few. Green turtles are abundent all year round, with the occasional loggerhead and hawks bill turtles also hanging around in this turtle sanctuary.

Discount Cooly Dive tickets for RACQ members

To take advantage of the special RACQ member prices, you must pre-purchase your tickets. Purchase online, visit an RACQ branch or phone the RACQ on 1800 629 501.

RACQ suggests phoning Cooly Dive on 07 5599 4104 prior to pre-purchasing your tickets to ensure availability for your selected date of attendance. Selecting a date for attendance when pre-purchasing your tickets from RACQ does NOT guarantee availability for that date.

Once you have purchased your tickets from RACQ you MUST reserve your session by calling Cooly Dive on 07 5599 4104 and advise you have an RACQ voucher. Printed RACQ voucher must be presented on day of travel.

Ticket prices (valid until 31 March 2014) 

*Child is 3-13 years. Observer child under 3 years is free, but is not to be left unattended during the snorkelling.

Please note: during daylight savings Cooly Dive runs on Queensland time.

What to wear/bring: swimwear, towel, sunscreen, camera/video camera, spare batteries and memory cards. Cooly Dive does suggest taking sea sickness tablets.

Cancellation policy: if less than 24 hours notice, no refund but a credit can be given. If more than 24 hours notice given, a full refund will be given or move booking to another day. No refund/credit given if patron fails to arrive on the day of booking.
