Whitsunday Crocodile Safari is a full day nature exploration into the estuaries and wetlands of the Whitsundays. Operating 7 days a week the Safari's aim is to provide a fully guided and safe, Australian nature experience that encompasses the unique tropical environment which is home to many species of native birds, mammals, reptiles and marine animals.
The Safari departs from Airlie Beach each morning at 8:30am and travels to Glen Isla, which is a district of Proserpine, returning early afternoon at approximately 4:00pm.
Inclusions of the Safari are:
- Courtesy pickups from selected locations at Shute Harbour, Airlie Beach, Cannonvale and Proserpine
- A calm-water cruise on the Proserpine River with crocodile watching
- An open-air, tractor-drawn, wagon-train tour through nationally listed Goorganga wetlands, natural waterholes, pastures and melaleuca forest
- Queensland mud crab capture and display
- Aussie BBQ lunch (vegetarians catered for on request at time of booking)
- Traditional bushman's damper cooked by our guides on site in a camp oven and billy tea
- Covered campsite including all amenities
- Comprehensive commentary delivered throughout the fully guided tour

To take advantage of the special RACQ member prices, you must pre-purchase your tickets. Purchase on-line, phone RACQ on 1800 629 501 or visit an RACQ branch.
RACQ suggests phoning Whitsunday Crocodile Safari on 07 4948 3310 prior to pre-purchasing your tickets, to ensure seating availability for your selected date of attendance. Selecting a date for attendance when pre-purchasing your tickets from RACQ does NOT guarantee seating availability for that date.
