Itinerary
Day 1 Vancouver - Victoria
Arrive at Vancouver Airport and be met and transferred to Victoria. Join an informal Welcome Reception this evening. Two Night Stay: Victoria, Hotel Grand Pacific
Day 2 Victoria
Visit Butchart Gardens for breakfast. . Then choose an activity from the Freedom of Choice touring options
Day 3 Georgia Strait, Whistler
You may wish to take our optional one-hour floatplane flight across stunning Georgia Strait to Whistler (own expense). Alternatively, journey to Whistler along the Sea to Sky Highway, one of the world’s most spectacular drives. Stay: Whistler, Westin Resort and Spa
Day 4 Kelowna
Travel through the Cariboo region before arriving in Kelowna, a renowned winery area in the Okanagan region. Stay: Kelowna, Delta Grand Okanagan Resort
Day 5 Lake Louise
Travel through Mt Revelstoke, Glacier and Yoho national parks, and on to Lake Louise. Visit Moraine Lake and Lake Louise, then enjoy a Dine Around Dinner. Two Night Stay: The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, in Banff National Park
Day 6 Lake Louise
Join a Mountain Heritage Guide for a walk alongside majestic Lake Louise. Then ride the Lake Louise Gondola and enjoy incredible views.
Day 7 Banff
Travel to Banff today and take a ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain on the Banff Gondola. Enjoy your Dine Around Dinner in Banff this evening. Two Night Stay: The Fairmont Banff Springs, the Castle in the Rockies
Day 8 Banff Sights
Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Banff then join your selected touring activity. Choose from the Banff experience, helicopter ride over the Rockies, a round of golf at The Fairmont Banff Springs, a Bow River float trip or a cruise down Lake Minnewanka.
Day 9 Icefields Parkway, Athabasca Glacier, Jasper
Travel along the Icefields Parkway. At the Columbia Icefield, take a ride in an Ice Explorer onto the Athabasca Glacier. Continue to Jasper.Two Night Stay: The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, a grand Canadian lodge
Day 10 Jasper
Enjoy your selected touring experience - ride the Jasper Tramway, take an interpretive nature hike, go on a Maligne Valley Wildlife Safari or raft down Athabasca River.
Day 11 Rocky Mountaineer Rail, Mt Robson
Board the Rocky Mountaineer train. In GoldLeaf Service, you can sit back and relax. Perhaps enjoy a dinner show tonight, at additional cost. Stay: Kamloops, hotel assigned by Rocky Mountaineer. Kamloops has limited accommodation (two or three-star hotels)
Day 12 Kamloops, Vancouver
Pass Hell’s Gate and Fraser Canyon en route to Vancouver. Two Night Stay: Vancouver, The Fairmont Waterfront with spectacular views
Day 13 Vancouver
Enjoy a tour of Vancouver, including a stroll among the treetops along the Capilano Suspension Bridge. The afternoon is then at leisure. Tonight enjoy a special Farewell Dinner with your fellow travellers.
Day 14 Holland America Line Cruise
Today, board the ship for your Alaskan cruise. Seven Night Cruise: Holland America Line’s ms Zuiderdam or ms Volendam in a luxurious Verandah Stateroom
Day 15 Cruise the Inside Passage
Enjoy a day at sea, gliding over the Inside Passage.
Day 16 Juneau
This afternoon, arrive in Juneau, Alaska’s capital.
Day 17 Skagway
Journey to Skagway, a gateway for the gold rush. Spend time exploring a town where frontier history still lives on.
Day 18 Glacier Bay
Wake to the breathtaking sight of Glacier Bay National Park.
Day 19 Ketchikan
Tour Ketchikan’s sights this afternoon including museums, Creek Street and native cultural attractions. You may also wish to sample some of the local delicacy, salmon.
Day 20 The Inside Passage
Continue south through the stunning Inside Passage.
Day 21 Vancouver
Arrive back in Vancouver and transfer to the airport for your flight home
