Man crushed by soil airlifted by RACQ LifeFlight

A man has sustained serious injuries after being crushed by falling soil at a work site east of Millmerran.

RACQ LifeFlight was called to airlift the man in his fifties to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with serious crush injuries to his pelvis.

The man was working in a ditch at a building site when the black soil collapsed on top of him.

Queensland Ambulance Service transported him to the helipad at Millmerran Hospital, before being airlifted to Brisbane in a stable condition.
