Repairers ready to get Qlders back on the road: RACQ

As restrictions continued to ease in Queensland, RACQ has urged any members who had postponed progressing repairs on a motor vehicle claim because they had been staying put at home, to get on the phone and get it moving again from today.

“Our RACQ Selected Repairer network has remained open throughout the restricted period, but many of our members have chosen to not proceed their claim to assessment and repair,” Ms Ross said.

“Rest assured, our repairers all have strict social distancing and hygiene protocols in place, so your vehicle will be assessed and repaired quickly and safely.

“We want to get Queenslanders safely back out on the road as quickly as possible, so we can all support our State as we reopen.”

Ms Ross said the Club believed many members with damaged vehicles had also held off on lodging a claim at all.

“In the past two to three weeks, we’ve seen a pick-up by about 20 percent in members lodging vehicle claims, but we’re still below our normal pre-COVID demand,” she said.

“This means our repairer network has plenty of capacity to complete assessments and repair in a timely way. If you’re a member who has held off on making a claim, we encourage you to go online or give us a call on 13 1905 to lodge your claim today.“Our team will get your claims process started so you’re closer to being safely back on the road and out exploring our great State.”
