Man airlifted after mustering mishap

A farmer has been airlifted to hospital after he was involved in a motorcycle crash while mustering cattle on his South Burnett property.

The RACQ LifeFlight Rescue crew received the call for help yesterday morning after the man, aged in his 40s, sustained head and leg injuries. The farmer’s wife raised the alarm after he failed to return home from the morning muster.

The man was taken to Toowoomba Base Hospital in a stable condition.

It was the second motorcycle-related crash the LifeFlight crew was called to in less than an hour.
