Queensland Rail advised Cleveland line trains were suspended between Lota and Lindum stations due to the obstruction at Manly station.
RACQ spokesperson Lauren Ritchie urged commuters to pack their patience and allow extra travel time this morning.
“Rail buses have been organised to take commuters to the next station, but it will still be a long journey into the city,” Ms Ritchie said.
“There may be a little extra traffic on the roads due to the trains being suspended, so if you decide hop in the car check RACQ Road Conditions to plan the quickest route.”
