Man airlifted after car rollover: RACQ

A man was airlifted to Brisbane this morning by RACQ LifeFlight Rescue after his car rolled in Nanango in the early hours of this morning.

Queensland Fire and Rescue was called to free the 32 year old man and his passenger from the wreckage after their car rolled near the intersection of Racecourse Road and Nanango Tarong Road at 12:45am.

RACQ spokesperson Lauren Ritchie said the two patients were treated at the scene by paramedics before being transported.

“The man sustained multiple injuries to the chest, pelvis and leg,” Ms Ritchie said.

“He was flown to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital under the care of an RACQ LifeFlight Rescue Critical Care Doctor.

“A second patient was treated for abdominal, leg and head injuries and was transported in a serious, but stable condition to Kingaroy Hospital.
