Enjoy a hot chocolate around a crackling fire, long bush walks, bike trails, spectacular views and more at these great campsites on the Sunshine Coast.

Boreen Point Campground

  • Location: The Esplanade, Boreen Point. Camp on the shore of Lake Cootharaba, the largest lake on the Noosa River. Your campsite will have direct access to the lake, powered sites, a camp kitchen with gas BBQs, hot showers, a septic dump point and access to the Great Sandy National Park.
  • Travel time from Brisbane: two hours.
  • Close to: Eumundi Markets (35 mins), Noosa Bird Trail (25 mins) , Noosa Farmers Markets (30 mins), Hastings Street (30 mins).
  • Campsite: Bush camping on shore Lake Cootharaba (site map).
  • Dog rules: Dogs are welcome by prior application form and approval and terms and conditions must be adhered to.

Bluff Creek Campgrounds

  • Location: 44 Wilcox Road, Kenilworth. Bluff Creek is the perfect place to for those who are craving an escape. There are specular views of the creek, bike trails, river swimming holes, hot showers and the campsite is close to local attractions and eateries.
  • Travel time from Brisbane: two hours.
  • Close to: Eumundi Markets (30 mins), Maleny National Park (35 mins).
  • Campsite: Bush camping, no powered sites.
  • Dog rules: Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash at all times and pet waste must be cleaned up immediately and disposed of in appropriate bag.

Kenilworth Camping on the River

  • Location: Paulger Road, directly off Eumundi Kenilworth Rd, Kenilworth. Kenilworth is the perfect spot for the family to pitch a tent, build a campfire and relax with their family pet. The campsites are beside picturesque waterholes suitable for swimming, canoeing and kayaking. The dairy farm offers great bike tracks, so don’t forget to bring your own bike.
  • Travel time from Brisbane: two hours.
  • Close to: Eumundi Markets (25 mins), Sunshine Beach at Noosa (45 mins and dog exercise area).
  • Campsite: Bush camping.
  • Dog rules: Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times.

Borumba Deer Park

  • Location: 1133 Yabba Creek Road, Imbil. A great family owned and operated caravan and camping ground located in the Mary Valley on Yabba Creek. This is great place to unwind and spend time with family and friends. There are powered sites, non-powered sites, cabins, kiosk, laundromat, amenity blocks and a camp kitchen.
  • Travel time from Brisbane: two hours.
  • Campsite: Bush camping.
  • Dog rules: Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times except in the off-lead area. Terms and Conditions comply including a $50 dog bond fee.
