What type of food is on the menu?
Here at CK Wholefoods we try our best to supply the highest quality ingredients that are fresh, locally sourced and organic whenever possible - we embody the ‘wholefoods’ motto.
Everything is made from scratch because we believe that real food doesn't come pre-packaged. By making everything ourselves we know every ingredient that goes into your food, ensuring that we deliver wholesome, nutritious and delicious meals to you every day.
We only use organic coconut oil in all our baked and raw foods and avoid using refined sugar or processed flours. We use the finest chemical free ingredients such as pure maple syrup and organic coconut sugar.
If you have any dietary needs, please let us know. We are more than happy to cater for your desires so we can give you the most delicious and nutritious experience.
Do you have a signature dish?
Our regular customers would probably say our Japanese Okonomiyaki Cabbage Pancake. It comes served with grilled Huon salmon, poached egg, avocado and Kewpie mayo. It’s different, delicious and is gluten and dairy free.
What is the most popular breakfast meal on the menu?
Super Green Smash. This is our version of smashed avocado which is served with lime and cracked pepper with a raw salad of kale, broccoli and seeds on top. Choose your toast from a range of different breads - our house made paleo toast is my recommendation.
What is the most popular lunch meal on the menu?
Our 12-hour slow cooked Beef Brisket Burger with Swiss cheese, pickled onions, avocado and salad on a German pretzel bun served with sweet potato fries.
Which smoothie do you recommend to customers?
Tough choice, but my top two picks would be the Blue Steel Protein Smoothie and the Super Soother which is our tasty turmeric smoothie.
Do you cater for gluten free and vegan customers?
Absolutely! Our entire menu caters for gluten free, dairy free, egg free, even sugar free and ketogenic requirements. Many of our customers are wanting this and this is exactly why CK is so popular with health-conscious people who are looking for delicious and nutritious food options.
Are your ingredients locally sourced?
We try our best to supply the highest quality ingredients that are fresh, locally sourced and organic. Most of our fresh produce is from the Sunshine Coast and Byron Bay. Our pork is from Bangalow (northern New South Wales) and our chicken is from Nerang (Gold Coast).
What type of products do you offer in your grocery section?
We’ve got gut-loving foods like broths, collagen, pantry staples and local teas. We also have plenty of books and gift ideas, kid foods, skincare products and eco-friendly products such as calico bags, stainless steel straws, containers and locally make ceramic cups. There are also plenty of snack bars, chocolates and healthy treats to grab if you are on-the-go.
How far away is the restaurant from the beach?
Mooloolaba Beach is only a short 100m walk from the café.
