Common Woof Games

The games are coming to Brisbane.

Every man and his dog (so to speak) will head to the Brisbane Showgrounds this November to compete in the inaugural Dog Lover Show Common Woof Games.

Dogs from Australia, New Zealand, Canada and England will compete in K9 Fusion Sports including Dog Socca, Javelin weave and mini dog hurdles to be named the top dog in town. The outdoor forecourt will be the place for water-loving dogs, who will compete in the big-air, speed retrieve and duelling dogs pool-based events.

In between event, the dogs from Black Hawk DockDogs and 4 Paws Sport Team will entertain the crowds.

There will be something for everyone – if competing isn’t for you then the educational talks for a healthier, happier dog at the Pet Circle Stage may be more their speed. A Q&A with Bondi vet’s Alex Hynes and TV vet Dr Harry Cooper will provide the latest information on caring for your pet’s health.

Add to the family at the Dog Adoption Zone, where there will be dozens of adorable dogs looking for a new home.

For those wanting to pat some pooches, DOGS Queensland will be there with more than 100 breeds on show. If that’s not enough, stop by the Pat-A-Pooch zone on your way through to meet dogs of all shapes and sizes. There will also be loads of information on which breed is right for you.

Stock up on some new pet supplies for your canine at the giant doggie supermarket, which will have more than 150 pet product and service exhibitors. Your dog can get a new jumper, a custom photography session and some organic treats all in the one place.
