Darwin's summer festivals worth the wet

The Top End’s off-peak tourist season has plenty to attract visitors.

Tourists are less attracted to Darwin during its wet season, when the heat and humidity rise and monsoonal rains become common.

However, the Top End should not be ruled out as a holiday destination during the summer months.
Visitors who do venture north will find Darwin less busy and accommodation prices lower during the off-peak season, from November to March.Adding to the Tope End’s appeal over summer is a selection of events and festivals, scheduled to entertain locals and visitors.
