Motoring goes digital

Want cheap fuel, roadside assistance or help driving? RACQ’s apps have got you covered.

RACQ members can access a range of new mobile apps designed to do everything from helping locate the cheapest fuel, aid in an emergency and teach learners how to drive.

RACQ Fair Fuel Finder app

Browse your local area for the lowest fuel prices on the RACQ Fair Fuel Finder app, now available on iOS and Android.

Using market data and RACQ research, the app shows what RACQ considers to be a fair fuel price for unleaded petrol and diesel in south-east and regional Queensland and provides an indication of what motorists should pay for fuel.*

The RACQ Fair Fuel Finder app enables members to:

  • View fuel prices for your current location and find the closest, cheapest fuel.
  • View the fuel types available at the nearest petrol stations.
  • Access the latest fuel advice to help plan when to fill up.
  • View updated fuel pricing trends in the local area.
  • Browse petrol station locations and get directions with ease.
  • Access your digital RACQ membership card for easy redemption at stations where RACQ discounts are available (Puma, Pacific Petroleum and more).

RACQ Roadside Assistance app

Help is at hand in your pocket everywhere you go. In the event an emergency strikes, simply open the app and request Roadside Assistance using your smartphone.

The app can automatically detect your location using GPS, submit assistance requests and track the status of the job even if submitted by phone.

Other features include:

  • The name and photograph of the roadside patrol attending your request.
  • A service rating once the job has been completed.
  • Access to the latest road conditions across Queensland including road closures, road hazards, incidents and events.
  • Easy access to the RACQ Discounts App if you have it installed.

Learner Driver app

With RACQ’s newest app, learner drivers can log their hours without the risk of losing their records. Best of all, drivers can actively track their progress and submit their hours directly to the Department of Transport and Main Roads.

Learners can manage multiple supervisors, with each supervisor able to set their own unique, four-digit pin to approve any drive.

App users can also access exclusive RACQ content including videos and tutorials on the driver skills and manoeuvres needed for their P-plate test.
