The Sky Voyager has landed at Dreamworld
Experience Dreamworld’s newest Australian attractions.
If you’re after a place to take the kids, look no further than Dreamworld. The beloved theme park has just opened its latest attraction, the Sky Voyager, and has a range of family-friendly, fun and educational Australian experiences.
The Sky Voyager
The Sky Voyager, a first of its kind in Australia, offers a simulated flight over some of Australia’s most spectacular landscapes in the Southern Hemisphere’s first flying theatre.
More of an experience than a ride, the Sky Voyager is suitable for adults and children alike, provided they’re over four years-of-age and 100cm or taller.
While children will undoubtedly be thrilled by the suspended motion-programmed seating, adults can revel in the technology, including a giant dome screen and immersive special effects.
Rather than just watching Australia’s scenery go by, you’re absorbed into its world. Wind, sounds, lights, mists and scents delight the senses as you’re ushered through the five-and-a-half-minute ride across 12 unique regions of Australia.
The Sky Voyager is not an intense ride, but it is a memorable one, offering a unique Australian experience.
Perhaps the best-selling point to the Sky Voyager is its ability to seat 60 people per ride. The high seating capacity means cue times are short and at near six minutes, the ride is one of the longest available at any theme park.

Come face-to-face with a fearsome apex predator at Tiger Island.
RACQ Journalist Jessica Wilson recently took part in Dreamworld’s Tiger Cub Experience.
“Tiger cubs are adorable from a distance but it’s not until you’re up close that you fully appreciate their majesty,” Ms Wilson said.
“In some respects, they’re just like oversized kittens and being able to interact with the cubs gave me a new appreciation for Dreamworld’s tiger handlers and the challenges facing tigers in the wild.”
A percentage of funds from the tiger experiences goes to the Dreamworld Wildlife Foundation, supporting the conservation of threatened and endangered species.
In keeping with the Sky Voyager’s Australian theme, Dreamworld Corroboree is celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, heritage and wildlife. Guests can get up close and personal with some Australia’s native wildlife including koalas, kangaroos and crocodiles. Guests can also learn the ancient craft of fire making, face painting, weapon making and music.
