Chicken wings have fast become one of Brisbane’s favourite treats with myriad restaurants serving all styles from spicy, saucy and fried to American and Korean. 

But where are Brisbane’s best wings? Check out our list of contenders and decide for yourself. 

Seoul Bistro

If you go to Seoul Bistro, you better go with an appetite. The southside favourite specialises in Korean chicken and offers an all-you-can-eat wing buffet which also includes cheese toast, fries and iced tea for $21.90 per person. The wings are lightly fried, crispy and come in seven flavours including peri-peri, Buffalo, honey wasabi and more. Make sure to book ahead as the restaurant is often busy.

King Of The Wings

One of Brisbane’s most beloved food trucks, King Of The Wings has developed cult status with pundits following their ever-changing locations. The menu offers a smorgasbord of flavours including their signature combination, Southern Style, which combines original herbs and spices into a crunchy dry rub. Another fan favourite is the Bee Sting, a honey sesame blend with a sweet chilli kick. Follow the food truck’s location via their Facebook page.

Buffalo Bar

If you are after some classic American-style wings and eats, you can’t go past Buffalo Bar. Aside from their vast selection of burgers, ribs and steaks, Buffalo Bar is known for eight different styles of wings. Choose from dry options (chipotle and garlic; bacon, cheese and chive; seasoned jerk; parmesan, garlic and chilli) or wet wings (Buffalo; sriracha, honey and garlic; and maple mustard). If you can stomach hot wings, the Hell Bound Bad Boys are a must. 


KaiKai Chicken

Much like, Seoul Bistro, you’ll want to save your appetite up for a meal at KaiKai Chicken. The Korean fried chicken restaurant is a wing lover’s dream with three buffet options including ‘standard’ (fried chicken and loaded fries), ‘deluxe’ (standard buffet and unlimited sides) and the ‘wings, beer and sangria’ option. There are 12 wing flavours to choose from including nacho cheese and bacon, zesty lemon with lime, Korean Buffalo. 

The Smoke BBQ

  • 85 Merthyr Road, New Farm

Craving barbecue? Look no further than the Smoke BBQ which instils authentic American flavours by slow-smoking their food using hand-cut hickory wood. Their crispy wings are tossed in six signature flavours including Buffalo, Hurricane hot wings, Kansas City BBQ wings and honey soy wings. Those brave enough can also try the 3rd Degree wings which are made extra hot.
