What to watch these school holidays

Keep yourself occupied over the break with these five binge-worthy shows.

To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before

Lana Condor as sixteen-year-old Lara Jean is so sweet that she’ll give you a toothache in this high-school rom-com about family, friends and being your best self. Whether you love jock Peter Kavinsky or boy next door Josh Sanderson, this Netflix movie is cute, relatable and will leave you with warm fuzzies.

Brooklyn 99 Season 5

Cancel all your school holiday plans because the fifth season will be out on 28 September on Netflix. Sorry Meghan and Harry, we all know Brooklyn 99 royalty, Jake and Amy, will have the real wedding of the year. Rosa will come out, Terry will up his yoghurt game and Chelsea Peretti will give us more iconic Gina.

Adventure time Season 9

Join Jake the dog and Finn the human in the Land of Ooo for their last ever season. Finn and Jake will fight to undo some seriously strong elemental magic that could turn Ooo into a horrifying dystopia and one of Finn’s doppelgangers might turn evil. Watch the season on Stan now.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 2 will open in cinemas on 14 November, so use these school holidays to get up to date on where Newt’s adventures first started. Whether you’re a witch, wizard or “no-mag”, there is no ignoring the newest addition to J.K. Rowling’s world. The movie has just been released on Netflix.

The Good Place Season 3

The Good Place is back on Netflix for a third season with Kristen Bell and Ted Danson. How can they possibly top seasons one and two, you ask? You’ll have to watch to find out. The new season will be on Netflix on 28 September, so its perfect timing for a school holiday binge.
