Deb's note December/January 2020/21
A message from RACQ Managing Editor Deb Eccleston.
If I was asked to use one word to sum up 2020, it would be “challenging”. Bushfires, storms, a global pandemic and economic crisis tested the mettle of each and every one of us.
You could be forgiven for questioning what is left to celebrate this festive season.
I think the answer to that is quite simple.
If you are surrounded by loved ones, there is reason to celebrate.
If you have your health, there is reason to celebrate.
If you have a roof over your head and food on the table, there are reasons to celebrate.
If nothing else, 2020 has shown that friends and family, good health and a loving home are the most valuable gifts of all.
They may not come wrapped in paper with a foil bow, but their value is immeasurable.
