Due to the recent severe weather and flooding across Brisbane, the RACQ International Women’s Day Fun Run event in Brisbane City will not go ahead this Sunday 6 March.
I’m sure you share the disappointment with us and the team at the Mater Foundation, but the focus is to keep you safe, with clean up and recovery efforts looking to extend across the weekend.
Unfortunately, the event will not be rescheduled to a later date due to the availability of all required resources, venues and permits, along with additional costs to do so.
For anyone who had registered for the physical event, Mater Foundation has automatically transferred your registration to Fun Run – Your Way.

Thank you for your support and understanding.
Each day in Australia 54 women are diagnosed with breast cancer.
On 4 February, World Cancer Day, we pledged $10,000 to support these women in the form of mastectomy bra's.
Fun Run participants were encouraged to tell us why they were running at the RACQ International Women's Day Fun Run on the RACQ Tribute Wall. We had over 100 tributes shared, and 91 tributes received a donation from us to the value of one mastectomy bra for sharing their story - that's $110!
Thanks to your membership, we can continue to support our Queensland community and help make a positive difference to the lives of women with breast cancer.
