Style boost to lead Queenslanders to success

Queenslanders seeking work were set for a style boost after Brisbane-based non-profit Suited to Success received a $15,000 donation from RACQ Foundation to launch its Virtual Career Hub.
From online style sessions to refreshing resumes, Suited to Success spokesperson Tamara Smith said they could now dress any Queenslander to impress.
“Distance is no longer a limit to whether we can help someone looking for their next role,” Ms Smith said.
“Job hunters from all over the State can now dial in to get styling advice, interview tips and career mentoring. We’ll then post out a package with an interview outfit and additional resources to kickstart their career.”
RACQ Foundation spokesperson Lucinda Ross said the Club was proud to support such an important cause.
“Everyone deserves to feel confident and prepared when they interview for work, and Suited to Success is ensuring every Queenslander can have that experience,” Ms Ross said.
“This year we made it possible for organisations, like Suited to Success, who are helping Queenslanders get back on their feet after COVID-19 to access grants just like those impacted by natural disasters.
“We saw more than 360 applications for help from groups who had been impacted by COVID-19 or who were in the process of helping rebuild our State. It’s been an honour for RACQ Foundation to support the amazing work these groups are doing to help our community.”
