RACQ spokesperson Lucinda Ross said twice a year the Club offered grants of up to $3000 to Queensland organisations, businesses, clubs, associations, and charities.

“We want to support one-off activities and initiatives which can make a big difference to Queenslanders, whether that be at a local or State level,” Ms Ross said.

“We know community groups are the backbone of towns and cities across the State and many have been hit hard by COVID-19.

“We’re putting the call out to eligible groups to submit their application before this round of grants closes on 15 November.

“In the previous round, seven groups received $15,000 in funding which went towards defibrillators, care kits for children, books, equipment and even helped pay for a boating hazard guide.”
