Soak up sunshine and live tunes at the 2022 Sunshine Sounds Festival.
Self-professed as the creative heartland of the Sunshine Coast, Eumundi is playing host to this year’s Sunshine Sounds Festival on 29–30 July.
The family-friendly music festival on 29–30 July is presented by local songstress Katie Noonan’s production company Kin Music and boasts a stellar line-up of local music acts.
Ms Noonan said the festival was all about bringing people together to create a sense of community within the region.
“Sunshine Sounds is a truly special little festival that really brings people together,” Ms Noonan said.
“There’s a real sense of community connection, welcoming music lovers and indeed performers of all ages and stages.”

Arguably the biggest drawcard for the event is Ms Noonan and brother Tyrone reuniting to perform as their former band George in what is the 20-year anniversary of their platinum album Polyserena.
The festival has also announced other notable performers including ARIA award-winning artist Clare Bowditch, Asha Jeffries, Hatz Fitz and Cara, Deline Briscoe and the Gubbi Gubbi dancers.
Another key element in the 2022 edition of the festival is the inclusion of the Eumundi School of Rock program in partnership with You Am I frontman Tim Rogers, which aims to educate and mentor young musicians aged from 8–17 years.
With gates open from 4:30pm on the Friday and 11am on the Saturday, patrons will want to make sure they are on time for this year’s festival to take advantage of the array of food and drink options before enjoying the music.
Tickets for the festival are on sale via the Sunshine Sounds Festival website.
