Blackbutt Delights festival.

Blackbutt Delights is a six-weekend, new culmination of Blackbutt events.

It has organically grown from Blackbutt’s premier festival, AvoFest, into celebrations of food, culture, arts and music delights, weekend after weekend, starting on the last weekend of August.

Get up to Blackbutt for the revving delights of Cardigras Hot August Night on the 27 August. Enjoy a show and shine, live music and more.

Next, ride the Railtrail Rum Ride on the 3 September. It’s a race from Blackbutt to Linville to get your numbered bottle of rum.

First one back with the lowest numbered bottle – wins.

Afterwards, enjoy live entertainment and an awards ceremony at Blackbutt’s Hotel Radnor afterparty.

Get to the delightful and popular AvoFest on the 9 and 10 September.

Play in the original and eccentric AvoGames, some winners even taking home $1000!

Enjoy the roving arts performers, helicopter rides, car show, street parade, classic woodchops, ongoing live music, guacamole competition, and the 100-plus market stalls.

There are kids painting and clay workshops too.

Or, come for the live music, there is the ABBA tribute concert on Friday and live bands Saturday night for the Harvest Moon.

Perhaps, instead you’ll choose 16, 17 and 18 September to enjoy an immersive experience of Art and Culture for the Blackbutt Arts Day Out.

It’s a busy weekend, with the Blackbutt and Surrounds Garden Competition on too.

The last weekend of September, Saturday 24 September is the Bluegrass Music Festival.

It’s held at the Hotel Radnor, on the pub’s famous verandah, in the bar and out the back in the beer garden.

All tickets for the events are available on Eventbrite, or on the Blackbutt Delights website
