Existing members
  • Navigate to https://securebanking.racq.com.au and select Internet Banking (located in the quick links box of the home page)
  • Enter your Bank ID
  • Enter your Password
  • Select Login
  • You will be taken to your Accounts Summary page
New members
  • Navigate to https://securebanking.racq.com.au and click Internet Banking (located in the quick links box of the home page).
  • Enter your Bank ID
  • Enter the security code RACQ Bank provided to you via SMS as your Password
  • Select Login
  • You will be prompted to set your own password.
  • New password – enter your newly selected password
  • Confirm new password – re-enter your newly selected password
  • Select Save password to ensure your new password is saved and active for future logins

Note: On your first login, you will be presented with the Terms & Conditions. Click Agree if you agree and wish to proceed to internet banking. For any future logins, you will only receive a pop-up notification if the Terms & Conditions change or if important messages need to be communicated.

Forgotten password, member number or locked accounts
If you have forgotten your password, member number or your account is locked, please contact us on 13 1905. Once we have verified your request, you will be sent a security code to use as a one-time password to access your account.

You can access all your Accounts information from the Accounts menu item. From here you can:

  • View your Accounts summary
  • View, filter, print and export your Transaction history
  • View your Interest summary
  • View eStatements.
Accounts summary

You can access Accounts summary from the Left hand menu > Accounts > Accounts summary. From here you can view all of your accounts as tiles. To view more detail about the account, click on the relevant account tile.

How to use your quick links

The right hand quick links menu allows you to perform popular actions quickly, either by transaction type or account.

Performing actions via the transaction type

Navigate to I want to… on the right of the screen
Select the action you’d like to perform

  • Make a transfer or payment
  • View transaction history
  • View scheduled
  • transactions
  • Navigate to your chosen account tile
  • Click the More icon displaying three dots (top right corner)
  • Select the action you’d like to perform, either Transaction
  • history or Transfer or pay
Viewing transactions

You can access Transactions from the menu under Accounts > Transactions. From here you can select an account in the right corner and then view details about a specific account, filter, print and export your transactions for the previous six months.

How to filter your transactions

  • Navigate to and click the Search magnifying glass icon (right hand side above your transactions)
  • Set your search filters by using any combination of the following
  • Search – search by keyword (e.g. BPAY, Energex)
  • Type – select the transaction type: all, money in or money out
  • From – select the earliest date you wish to search
  • To – select the latest date you wish to search
  • Amount – $ minimum and/or $ maximum amounts
  • Select Search to view all of your requested transactions.

How to print your transactions

  • Navigate to and select the Print icon above your transactions
  • Your print options will appear for you to select and print
How to export your transactions
  • Navigate to and select the grey Export button at the bottom of your screen
  • The export will be created as an Excel CSV file and will appear down the bottom of your screen
  • Open or save your transaction details
Interest summary

You can access your Interest summary from the menu under Accounts > Interest summary. From here you can view and print your interest summary for the current and previous year, including interest paid, interest earned and withholding tax.

How to view and print your interest summary

  • Financial year – choose the year you wish to view from the dropdown and the details will be displayed
  • To print – click Print on the right, above your interest details
eStatements

You can access your eStatements from the menu under > Accounts > eStatement. From here you can view your statements for a specified date range, although the statements available will default to the latest 12 months.

How to view your eStatements

  • From – select the earliest date you wish to search
  • To – select the latest date you wish to search
  • Select Search

 

Your statements will appear and you will be able to click on them to view

 

You can make transfers and payments from the menu item Transfers and payments. From here you can:

  • Make a transfer or payment
  • Update your biller and payee Address book
  • View, create and delete Scheduled transactions
  • Transfers and payments

    You can access Transfers and payments from the Left hand menu > Accounts > Transfers and payments > Transfers and payments. From here you can pay a biller (BPAY) or payee, or make transfers between your accounts.

    How to make a payment, transfer or loan redraw
    • From – select the account you wish to pay or transfer from
    • To – select the account or biller you wish to pay or transfer to
    • Amount – enter the amount in $
    • Description I’ll see – enter a description for your records and the payee/biller
      • They'll see the same description – tick box. If you wish the payee/biller to see a different description, un-tick the box
      • Description they’ll see – enter the description you would like the recipient to see
    • When – select when you wish the payment to be made by clicking on one of these:
      • Now – use to transfer funds immediately
      • Later – use to schedule a single future payment by entering the Date using the calendar
      • Regular – use to schedule multiple future payments
        • How often – select an option from the dropdown list
        • Starting – set a first payment date using the calendar
        • Repeat until – from the dropdown list select No end date or Specific date, ending by selecting the last payment date using the calendar
    • Click Next to review and confirm the details are correct
    • Click Confirm if the details are correct and you wish to finalise the transaction
    • Select Make changes if changes are required. You will return to the previous screen where you can make your changes before confirming.

    Note: To redraw on your loan, this feature must already be part of your account. From a loan account, you are only able to transfer funds to one of your RACQ Bank transaction accounts.

    Transfer limits

    The default transfer limits for all RACQ Bank customers are as follows:

    • Unlimited between your own accounts
    • $10,000 for transfers per day
    • $20,000 using BPAY per day
    Scheduled transactions

    You can access scheduled transactions from the menu under Accounts > Transfers and payments > Scheduled transactions. From here you can create and delete scheduled transactions.

    How to delete a scheduled transaction
    • Click the payment you wish to delete until it expands
    • Click the More icon displaying three dots
    • Click the Bin icon to delete
    How to create a new scheduled transaction
    • From – select the account you wish to pay or transfer from
    • To – select the account, payee or biller you wish to pay or transfer to
    • Amount – enter the amount in $
    • Description I’ll see – enter a description for your records and the payee/biller
      • They'll see the same description – tick box. If you wish the payee/biller to see a different description, un-tick the box
      • Description they’ll see – enter the description you would like the recipient to see
    • When – select when you wish the payment to be made by clicking on one of these
      • Now – use to transfer funds immediately
      • Later – use to schedule a single future payment by entering the Date using the calendar
      • Regular – use to schedule multiple future payments
        • How often – select an option from the dropdown list
        • Starting – set a first payment date using the calendar
        • Repeat until – from the dropdown list select No end date or Specific date, ending by selecting the last payment date using the calendar
      • Click Next to review and confirm the details are correct

      • Select Make changes if changes are required. You will return to the previous screen where you can make your changes before confirming.

    Note:
    Scheduled transfers from a loan account with redraw can only be created for transfers to one of your RACQ Bank transaction accounts.

    If you need to update an existing scheduled transaction, delete the current scheduled transaction and create a new one.

    To add a new recipient, refer to the FAQs section Address book – managing your payees and billers > How to add a new recipient.

    Address book – managing your payees and billers
    You can access your Address book from the Left hand menu > Accounts > Transfers and payments > Address book. From here you can store payees’ and billers’ details to your address book. You can add new ones, and update and delete existing ones without having to make a payment, and will be able to see all of your current billers and payees.

    How to add a new recipient

      • Click the + New recipient in the top right of the screen and choose new payee or new biller • Click either the New payee or New biller tab and enter the below information
      • New payee
      • Account name
      • BSB
      • Account number
      • Account nickname (optional) – this is your reference for the payee
      • New biller
        • Biller code
        • CRN (Customer Reference Number)
        • Account nickname (optional)– this is your reference for the biller.
      • Click Save once you have entered the payee or biller’s details
      • Click Send security code and you will receive an SMS security code to verify the transaction
      • Enter the code – enter the security code in this box
      • Click Confirm code
      • Click Confirm to add the new recipient to your address book

    Note: If you are adding a new biller or payee while making a payment, you can choose to add them to your address book for future use.

    How to update a payee or biller
    • Select the payee or biller you wish to update
    • Click the small expand arrow to open the options
    • Click Edit to update the account name or nickname fields
    • Click the tick icon to save
    How to delete a payee or biller
    • Select the payee or biller you wish to delete
    • Click the small expand arrow to open up the options

    Click Delete once and then Delete again to confirm and finalise deletion

    You can access your Contact details from the menu under Settings icon > Contact details. From here you can view and update your details, including your address, home, work and fax phone numbers.

    For security reasons, mobile numbers and email addresses cannot be updated via Internet Banking. To update these, please phone us on 13 1905.

    How to update contact details
    • Select Unmask and edit
    • The security screen will appear, followed by security method. Click Send security code.
    • Enter the code – you will receive a security code, which you can enter in this box.
    • Click Confirm code
    • Click Edit and update your details as required
    • Click Save

    You can access Security from the Top right menu > Security padlock icon. From here you can select Manage credentials or Activity history.

    Manage credentials
    You can access Manage credentials from the Top right menu > Security padlock icon > Manage credentials. From here you can change your password.
    How to change your password

    If you know your password and your account is not currently locked, you are able to change your password at any time using internet banking.

    • Navigate to Top right menu > Security padlock icon > Manage credentials > Password
    • Select Update your password
    • Current password – enter your password (remember, passwords are case sensitive)
    • New password – enter your newly selected password
    • Re-enter new password – enter your newly selected password again

    Note: Passwords must be a minimum of 8 characters, maximum of 20 characters, and must include at least one numeric character, one UPPERCASE character, one lowercase character and one special character. Please DO NOT use your date of birth or a common sequential number pattern when selecting a password.

    Mobile security

    Important – For security reasons, mobile numbers cannot be amended online. To update, please phone our Contact Centre on 13 1905 or visit us in branch.

    Email security

    Important – For security reasons, email addresses cannot be amended online. To update, please phone our Contact Centre on 13 1905 or visit us in branch.

    To exit this screen, select Go back from the top right of the screen. This will return you to the contact details page. You can then navigate using the left-hand menu or click Logout.

    Logging out

    To logout, simply click on the Logout button in the top right corner of the screen.

    Timing out

    Once you are logged in to internet banking, the system will log you out automatically after 20 minutes. If you login again within 1 hour, you will return to the last screen you were navigating when the session expired.
