Internet Banking and the RACQ Bank mobile app requires all customers to register a unique mobile number – not used by anyone else – for SMS security.

SMS security reduces the risk of fraud through the use of one-time codes being issued to authorise transactions, such as:

  • Transferring money to a new payee or biller (BPAY)
  • Adding a new payee or biller directly to your address book
  • Updating your personal details
  • Registering or logging in to internet banking for the first time
  • Resetting your password.

If you already have a unique mobile number linked to your account but it’s not enabled for SMS security, you can register it by calling us on 13 1905 or visiting your local RACQ Bank branch.

Password require a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 10 characters and must contain at least 1 uppercase letter, 1 lowercase letter and 1 number.

The system will default to 30 days of transactions. You can view up to 6 months of transactions by selecting Search and changing the date range.

Log on using your Bank ID and Internet Banking password. Access Transfers and payments from the left-hand menu by clicking Accounts > Transfers and payments > Transfers and payments. From here you can pay a biller or payee (including BPAY), or make transfers between your accounts. Once you’ve entered the amount you wish to pay in $, click Next to review and confirm the details are correct. Click Confirm if the details are correct and you wish to finalise the transaction.

Standard limits for members is $20,000 for BPAY and $10,000 for transfers to another financial institution. If you need to increase your daily limit, simply call us on 13 1905.
