The Outlander all-wheel drive was more about the fashion-appeal of SUV’s as distinct from a real talent for doing it in the dirt. The ZF series offered improvements over the previous ZE series including fatter engine outputs.

No ESC on 4 cyl models, side and curtain airbags were options, fuel consumption,  not for real off-roading, no steering wheel reach adjust.


5 star UCSR, driver and front passenger airbags, ABS, EBD.
