The University of Queensland COVID-19 vaccine appeal

At RACQ, we want to do all we can to protect Queenslanders against outbreaks of coronavirus now and into the future, and one way we’ve been able to achieve this is by supporting leading-edge research in our own state.

Through the support of our members and the Queensland community, The University of Queensland (UQ) has now reached its fundraising target to help fund efforts to fast-track the development of a COVID-19 vaccine, a project which has the potential to change lives around the world.

Thank you for your support for this important research.

What this will mean for UQ

UQ is the only Australian organisation tasked by the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI) to fast-track the development of a vaccine for COVID-19. Donations to the university help reduce the timeline for an effective vaccine.
