Push notifications - fast and easy banking
A push notification is an unprompted message that pops up on a mobile device. They offer a fast and easy way to authorise transactions if you have a registered device.
How do I enable push notifications?
A push notification is an unprompted message that pops up on a mobile device. They are designed to provide convenient reminders to our banking app users. Push notifications are automatically enabled when you register your device. You can register your device and manage your push notifications in the User section at the bottom of your banking app. From there, you can manage your push notifications in Alerts Delivery Settings by tapping the slider icon to switch them on. If you would like to turn push notifications off, simply tap the slider back to switch them off.
How do stop receiving push notifications?
For security reasons, it is not possible to opt out of certain banking notifications. For example, if someone is transacting on your account and attempts to send money to an unknown payee/biller, you will receive a push notification to your registered device. To protect the security of our members, push notifications will be sent to the mobile or email you have provided to us. You can limit the amount of push notifications you receive, e.g. notifications about things that aren’t relating to your accounts with us, by deregistering your device and turning off push notifications. To limit these notifications, simply go to User in your banking app, deregister your device and switch off push notifications.
