What is generally covered with RACQ Home and Contents Insurance?
Home Insurance covers the exterior of your house (the bricks and mortar), the roof and the structures of your outbuildings (like sheds and garages). It protects you against fire, flood, damage, loss, and theft related to the physical structure of your house/property.
Contents Insurance covers the things inside your home, such as appliances, furniture, electronics, jewellery and items not permanently attached to the building. It protects your belongings if they are damaged, destroyed or stolen. Make sure you read the PDS, applicable Supplementary PDS and Key Facts Sheet to ensure your belongings will be thoroughly covered.
