Celebrity car collections

Some of Hollywood’s biggest stars are also car enthusiasts.

What’s the point of having money if you have nothing to spend it on? The celebrities below have amassed a car collection that would make every petrolhead in the world jealous.

Jay Leno

Comedian and former Tonight Show host Jay Leno has one of the largest car collections in the world, featuring more than 150 cars and 90 motorcycles. Highlights of the collection include a 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado, a 1906 Stanley Steamer and a one-of-a-kind EcoJet that was created during a collaboration with General Motors.

Jerry Seinfeld

The Seinfeld actor has a collection that could envy Leno’s, but his primary passion is for Porsches. The comedian owns some of the rarest models in the world including a Porsche 959, a Porsche 550 Spyder and a Porsche Carrera GT. You can see the unique collection in his Netflix show Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.

Keanu Reeves

Better known for his motorcycle collection than his car collection, Reeves owns everything from a 1973 Norton Commander 850 MK2 Roadster to the 2004 Ducati 998 that was featured in Matrix Reloaded. He has also started his own custom motorcycle company Arch Motorcycle.

Eric Bana

Australian actor Eric Bana’s car collection might not compete with the others on this list, but his passion for cars certainly can. His love for his prized 1973 Ford Falcon XP Hardtop was on display in his 2009 documentary Love the Beast.

Tim Allen

Sitcom star and comedian Tim Allen is also crazy about cars, most notably American-made muscle cars. His collection includes several Shelby Cobras, a 1968 Chevrolet Camaro 427 COPO and a 1933 Ford Roadster  he built on the set of Home Improvement.

Gabriel Iglesias

The comedian known for his ‘fluffy’ persona owns a $3 million collection of classic Volkswagen Kombi Vans. His love for the car started when he was 17 and purchased his first car, a 1968 Volkswagen Transporter for $700. He has since created a Volkswagen museum in Los Angeles that was designed to be a replica of a German Volkswagen factory.

Ralph Lauren

Fashion designer Ralph Lauren owns a well-tailored collection of high-end cars estimated to be worth more than $300 million. Forbes dubbed the collection ‘art you can drive’ and, in 2011, 17 of Lauren’s rarest vehicles including a 1929 Bentley 4.5-liter "Blower” were exhibited in the Louvre.
