Check out WhiteWater World's newest attraction
Six new waterslides will open at WhiteWater World on the Gold Coast this summer as part of a $7 million investment to upgrade the waterpark.
The construction of the new waterslides, Fully 6, is well underway by Swimplex-Polin Australia and will feature six body slides with five unique ‘splashtacular’ experiences and multi-coloured natural light effects.
Dreamworld Chief Operating Officer Greg Yong said Fully 6 will be the first new waterslide experience to open at any Gold Coast theme park since 2014.
“This will be a new experience for WhiteWater World guests, with an intermediate thrill level sitting in between our most adrenalin-packed slides and our kids waterslides,” Mr Yong said.
“Fully 6 is just one reason to get your annual pass now, with the southern Hemisphere’s first flying theatre Sky Voyager open and much more planned for the summer holidays and beyond.”
Work is also currently underway on refurbishing the waterpark’s existing slides and attractions, including fresh paint which will restore the slides to ‘as new’ condition.
Last financial year Dreamworld and WhiteWater World welcomed 1,459,000 visitors. The newest attraction is set to attract more guests this summer.
