New Car Launch: Jeep Grand Cherokee

One of the world’s most awarded SUVs gets a refresh.

Jeep Australia has announced a slew of new variants, engine upgrades and updated tech as part of its 2020 Grand Cherokee range.

The refreshed line-up sees the inclusion of 8.4-inch touchscreens with Apple Car Play and Android Auto and increased safety features including Advanced Brake Assist, Forward Collision Warning Plus  and Lane Departure Warning as standard across the range.

Jeep’s class-leading 3500kg towing capacity also continues across all diesel-powered variants.

Jeep Australia Director, Brand & Product Strategy Guillaume Drelon said the 2020 range offered “improved customer value.”

“The updated technology, safety advancements, refreshed exterior design and interior features ensure it remains one of the best offerings in its segment,” Mr Drelon said.

“Each 2020 Jeep model, including the revised Jeep Grand Cherokee range, will have a capped price service cost from just $399 per service for the first five years.”

As part of the range, Jeep has announced the previously limited Night Eagle will become a permanent trim option, joining the Limited, S-Limited, Trailhawk, Overland, and Summit.
