The Cobb+Co Museum is part of the Queensland Museum and known for its extensive displays of the natural and cultural history of Toowoomba and the Darling Downs and its National Carriage Collection.

The cultural heart of Toowoomba beats through the Empire Theatre, which has sections dating back to 1911. The facade is the original from 1933.

Time your road trip to coincide with the Lost Trades Fair on 4-5 May.
The event celebrates traditional trades and the artisans who continue to practice their skills. This year, visitors can see Australia’s last umbrella maker, a penny-farthing maker who races his bikes across the world, a sixth-generation cooper and an award-winning leather plaiter.

Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers
If slowing down and smelling the roses is more your speed, try the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers held on 20-29 September.
The 10-day carnival takes over Toowoomba with more than 60 unique events and experiences including award-winning parks and gardens, acclaimed musical acts, food and wine.
